Sallie specializes in treating gender dysphoria, sexual addiction and compulsivity, sexual dysfunctions, and individual/marital relationship problems. She is also a now-retired faculty member at California State University, Fresno, who taught in the areas of Abnormal Psychology, Human Sexuality, and Family Counseling. Sallie received her M.A. in Clinical-Community Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and became a recognized Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association in 2009 (Until then, she had been a Diplomate). She has appeared on national television, radio shows and documentaries. She has also had two of her articles regarding sexuality published in major scientific journals and has travelled to Cambridge, England to present her latest journal publication.
